A seminar on Crisis and Disasters and How to Handle them During the Academic Day

Seminar Objectives:

• How to respond to crises and disasters that may occur during the day at the faculty.
• Learning the proper procedures for evacuating classrooms during a fire.
• Alerting students to hazardous areas to avoid while moving around the faculty courtyard or buildings under renovation.

Content:

• Identifying the types of disasters that may occur within the educational facility.
• Understanding the dangers of smoking or consuming hot beverages in instrument rooms.
• Identifying the causes of fire.
• Training in proper evacuation procedures in case of a disaster or fire
• Avoiding constructions and renovation areas within the faculty.
• Protecting musical instruments from damage.
• Avoiding overcrowding on stairways during exams.
