International Student Support Program

The college is dedicated to caring for its students and providing the best possible services. As such, it offers programs aimed at supporting and assisting international students to help ensure their stability and academic success.

These programs include

Healthcare Program

The college guarantees healthcare for international students. There is an on-campus medical clinic staffed by three general practitioners, two pharmacists, and three rotating nurses from the Medical Units Administration throughout the academic year. These professionals provide medical check-ups and dispense urgent medications free of charge. In cases requiring advanced or specialized care, students are referred to Helwan University Hospital.

Academic Support Program

  • International students can access the list of academic courses for each year of study via the college's official website.
  • A digital version of the student handbook is also available on the website. Additionally, international students receive a printed copy upon enrollment. The handbook offers comprehensive information about the college's academic system.
  • The college also applies a system of academic advising, where each academic year is assigned an "Academic Advisor" who provides guidance to all students, including international students. These advisors assist students in continuing and succeeding in their studies, track their academic progress, help resolve any academic issues they may face, and submit relevant reports and recommendations to the concerned authorities. The advisor also introduces students to the institution’s policies, systems, and activities, thereby offering academic and psychological support through continuous follow-up to ensure their academic success.

Social Support Program

  • The college organizes student product exhibitions, as well as book and clothing fairs where items are sold at symbolic prices to all students.
  • The university provides housing for international students in student dormitories after payment of the applicable fees.
  • There is also a central dining hall where students can purchase subsidized meals at reduced prices.

Student Activities

  • The college allows international students to participate in all student activities offered, including social, artistic, cultural, and student club activities. They may also become members of all student committees and clubs. (However, under university regulations, international students cannot hold the position of committee secretary or deputy secretary.)
  • In addition to all the above services, international students may communicate directly with Dr. Mohamed Zein, the International Student Coordinator, who is responsible for all matters concerning international students and assists them in resolving any issues they may encounter. There is also direct supervision by the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs to support international students and help solve their problems in all areas.
