Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Music Education for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs
It is my pleasure to welcome you through this platform as the Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. This sector strives to strengthen the connection between the faculty and the community as well as activating the role of music and culture in serving sustainable development and community awareness.
The faculty places great importance on implementing activities that contribute to nurturing both individuals and society, by organizing numerous educational seminars against violence, raising awareness about the danger of addiction and customary marriage and other important social issues, in collaboration with institutions concerned with human development and mental and social well-being.
Additionally, we focus on environmental activities through tree-planting campaigns and cultivating green spaces within the faculty and areas surrounding it, believing in the importance of preserving the environment and promoting positive behavior among students towards it. Integrating musical art with these initiatives is considered a fundamental pillar in shaping the faculty’s mission towards an enlightened society.
Community service and environmental development isn’t only an academic duty, but also a moral and human commitment that contributes to instilling values and developing a generation capable of leading change.
With my sincere wishes to the Faculty of Music Education’s continued excellence and lasting success.
