The Cultural Relations Committee of the Faculty of Music Education, Helwan University, organized and prepared the workshop in collaboration with UTI, the authorized Yamaha agent in Egypt.

This initiative comes within the faculty’s strategic efforts to enhance students' skills and expose them to the latest musical instruments, technologies, and educational tools to better align them with labor market requirements.

Target Audience:

Undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Music Education specializing in drums.

Workshop Objectives:

- Introducing the latest electronic drums produced by Yamaha.

- Understanding the use of technological tools and applications (such as drum microphones) in the teaching process.

- Learning about the free application “REC & Share.”

- Exploring Simon Edgoos' approach to performance and pedagogy using electronic drums.

- Training students of the Faculty of Music Education in playing electronic drums and using playback and recording technologies.

The workshop concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the experts and organizers, along with a promise to continue collaboration with Yamaha’s official agent in Egypt, UTI, through future workshops and joint projects.
