Musical Thinking as an Educational Issue

The seminar was held on Monday, October 24, 2022, at the Theatre of the Faculty of Music Education. The speakers were Prof. Dr. Nabil Saleh Al-Darass, former Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Yarmouk University in Jordan, and Prof. Dr. Saleh Reda Saleh, Professor of Arabic Music at the Faculty of Music Education, Helwan University. The seminar aimed to engage in a theoretical discussion on the concept of musical thinking, and how it may relate, for some, to the concept of musical progress on one hand, and musical translation on the other, within the framework of Jordanian musical culture.
