• A peer-viewed scientific journal specialized in the field of music, published by the Faculty of Music Education – Helwan University since 1994.
• The journal publishes biannually in (January – July) since 2021, after previously being issued in (January – June) until 2020, with the approval of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
• Recognized by all Arab and Regional universities and institutions in the field of music.
• Distinguished as the only journal in the Arab world specialized in the field of music since its inception until now.
• Research papers may be submitted in Arabic or English and may also be published in any other language approved by the editorial board.
• The journal’s advisory and editorial boards consist of a selected group of distinguished professors and scholars in the field of music, along with prominent academics from reputable local, Arab and International institutions.
• Research papers are reviewed by at least two specialized professors from the permanent scientific committees of the Supreme Council of Universities or their equivalents from academic and scientific institutions in or outside Egypt, selected with complete confidentiality.
• The reviewers conduct peer-review blindly, with no knowledge of the author(s)’ identity to ensure transparency in the evaluation process.
• The journal is published in collected issues and volumes, with each author receiving 5 reprints of their published paper.
