About the Choir
Sawt Al-Asima Choir, affiliated with the Faculty of Music Education, is a distinguished student vocal group combining youthful energy, musical creativity, and professional ensemble performance with refined artistic taste.
The choir began over five years ago and includes more than 50 talented male and female students in singing and music. The choir is trained by elite vocal professors from the faculty:
- Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelkader
- Prof. Dr. Hoda Nosseir
- Dr. Dalia Hassanein
The choir presents a variety of distinguished musical works, including traditional songs with modern interpretations, operatic performances, Arabic music, monologues, and vocal duets.
It also includes a musical ensemble made up of students and faculty members, with the number of participants varying based on the nature of the musical performance.
The choir receives support from Prof. Dr. Said Kandil, President of Helwan University, and Prof. Dr. Sherine Abdel Latif, Dean of the Faculty of Music Education, who provide continuous encouragement and support.
